Ghettos:
When Hitler started to rule, Jews were destined to die. Any person who wore the Star of David was considered a Jew. When the Germans came in to each country, they confiscated homes, buisnesses and life savings. Ghettos were areas in certain cities where Jews were forced to live until they were put to work or killed. The purpose of camps or ghettos was to protect Christians from non-believers and prevent Jews from gaining too much economic and political power. Ghettos existed for less than 4 years: from September 21, 1939 to July 21, 1943. There were many small ghettos that were created then eliminated because the population was killed or sent to larger ghettos. Hitler ordered that ghettos should be located near railways to make liquidation eaiser. Ghettos were known as a short term solution to a long term problem. There are 9 main ghettos in which the first ghetto was made in autumn of 1939 in Poland and the last November 13, 1944 in Budapest.
Not in any specific order listed below is the 5 of the 9 main ghettos:
- Kovno (Lithuania)
-
Lodz (Poland)
- Minsk (Belorussia)
-
Riga (Latvia)
- Warsaw (Poland)

This is a good start. I really like how you have new page links set up for the cities.
